Sandra is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT500) through Yoga Alliance.
Based at the Online Yoga School through the Yoga & Ayurveda Center,
she's also available for online one-to-one personalized sessions, utilizing Zoom.
Introduced to yoga in 2010, she began daily practice in 2016, completing her 200-hour teacher training in 2020
and her 300-hour teaching training in 2021, under the guidance of Steph Ball-Mitchell,
master teacher with the Yoga & Ayurveda Center.
Sandra is certified to teach Hatha Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Chair Yoga,
and holds a certificate as Ayurveda Specialist through the Yoga & Ayurveda Center.
She's also a Kirtan leader, training with Mike Cohen of the Kirtan Leadership Institute in Boulder, Colorado.
She's appeared as vocal soloist nationally and internationally, with over 70 opera, oratorio, concert and musical theatre roles to her credit, and holds M.M. and D.M. degrees in voice performance from Florida State University’s College of Music.
Sandra is in her 23rd year on the voice faculty at the Hochstein School,
which honored her with the Faculty Service Award in 2013 and the Faculty Excellence Award in 2019.
She provides voice-over talent and audition coaching for commercial and media venues through
SBS Vocalworx & West Rush Media LLC. She was also the narrator for audio books available on Audible and Amazon Kindle.
Sandra is married to Dave Sluberski, audio engineer and professor of audio at
the Rochester Institute of Technology’s School of Film & Animation / MAGIC Spell Studios.
Dave is also the broadcast recording engineer for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
When not on the yoga mat, behind a mic or at the keyboard, Sandra can be found
enjoying her pet Silkie hens, or in the garage working on antique cars with Dave
(who enjoys being married to a yogini).
